Beth Moore Video
I watched this video in amazement and of course laughter. Who could resist Beth Moore? She's such a Godly woman who inspires me in my daily walk with Christ. I was reminded after watching this video about the study we did in Believing God. She started off that study by telling us if we asked God for a love and a passion for Him that we've never had before- He would give that to us.
I remember asking God that afternoon if He would give me even just a little of what Beth Moore has. I wanted to believe in Him, wanted to seek Him out, and love Him even more than I did that day. Well, I can honestly say He sure has! Believing God has been one of my most favorite studies. I learned a lot and learned to trust God even more.
This video just goes to show that when we follow what God asks us to do- no matter the task- He will bless us! Enjoy!

The Camden Barn Sale Bust
Lunch at Allens on the square- a YUMMY burger and fries just like Grandma used to cook.
A little wet and soggy old me.
The hubby with dry feet!
Allen's on the square
The rainy old barn sale
More rainy barn sale- notice all the MUD!!!!
Yep, we walked here...
Our soggy wet nasty feet.
More Barn Sale
Yet we are still having fun together!
And the Lord ended the night with his beauty- a very VERY beautiful sunset!!!!
I had the great idea (thanks Mom) to check out the Camden Barn Sale yesterday. Luke and I piled in the Edge, and in 2 hours we were there....along with the downpour of rain. We weren't prepared shoe wise- except we did have 2 huge umbrellas. The poor craft show was huge- but I'm afraid the vendors didn't do very good at all. Luke and I tracked through mud- his crocs were gross and my new tennis shoes weren't very new anymore! We looked around, bought some kettle corn, and left. We ventured to Walmart in the hopes of finding some flip flops- which they were out of- it's fall now ya know! So, I walked the rest of the day in wet tennis shoes. Luke found a clean puddle to wash his feet and crocs in and was good to go! We ate lunch at Allen's on the square and had the best burger and french fries. We went a little junk shopping- didn't buy a thing, and came on home. It was a fun day!

Doggie in Need of a Home
So it happened again today! I rescued this sweet little boy from the Citgo Gas Station on Alcoa Rd. He is a year old, weighs 25-30lbs. has had all its shots (thanks to Dr. Mike, an anonymous donor, and me), and a clean bill of health. He loves men and is a little shy around the girls. I have til Monday to find him a home. If you are interested leave a comment with your email and I'll get in touch with you!

Lily's 2nd Birthday Party
Birthday Girl
Mr. Jerry, Lily, and Christylee
Me & Christylee
Jacob
Grayson
The whole Family
Christylee, Chris John, Carlie, Nancy, and Jerry
We celebrated Lily's 2nd birthday yesterday at Mr. Jerry and Mrs. Nancy's house. It was a blast. We had hot dogs, baked beans, deviled eggs, cheese dip and chips, and birthday cake with ice cream! Luke and I were able to get lots of pictures. Lily LOVED her Barney doll- as she was singing the entire song after she opened it. She loved the knitted bear I made- and I think Christylee was glad it didn't sing!! Lily gave me hugs and kisses before we left- she's still not sure of Luke sometimes....but she tolerates him! Later, Christylee called and said Lily saw the card we got her and said, "Aunt Wissa and Uncle Bloop" just made my day! Happy Birthday Sweet Lily!

Happy Birthday Sweet Lily
My precious little niece Lily turned 2 yesterday. I just cannot believe it! The time has flown by and it has been a real joy watching her grow into a little girly girl. Two years ago today I drove to St. Vincent's and sat with Christylee's family in the waiting room. I walked a LONG way to that room in a boot- since my foot was broken. We waited and waited. I decided I must go home to tend to something- can't remember what- and Mrs. Nancy called me. They were doing an emergency C-section because the cord was wrapped around Lily's neck. So I sped all the way back to St. Vincents- ran...more like hobbled to the waiting room and waited to hear any news.
After what seemed like forever Dr. Gardner came out and told us Christylee and Lily were doing fine. I couldn't wait to go check on my friend and then see pics of this sweet girl. I was able to go back and see Christylee because Mr. Jerry told the nurses I was her "sister." After we passed the nurses desk, he turned and said to me, "Well, sister in Christ!"
This was the most wonderful day. I didn't get to hold Lily until the next morning, but was able to see her on the video camera. What a precious little gift. She has grown so much in these 2 years. She can even say my name now, which I just really melt every time....."Wissa!"
It's days like today (or actually yesterday) that make me miss my Aunt Debbi. She was at every birthday of mine and any important milestone I had. I sometimes wonder if she felt the same way I do about Lily....about me. That truly makes me miss and love her and Uncle Will even more!

Lily's 2nd Birthday
There is nothing in this world that makes me happier than taking pictures of Lily. She's a wonderful, sweet little thing! Luke and I had a blast with Christylee and Lily last night. We found a great spot in downtown Benton to take pictures. The yellow chair you see in these pictures was my grandmothers- how cool to get pics of Lily in that! I can't believe where the time has gone- just yesterday Christylee had her....and now she's 2 years old!!! Enjoy, these are just a few of my favorites out of the over 200 pics we took!!! Oh, and the little bear she's holding is an early birthday present from Aunt Melissa!
