Kindercamp
Kingston had Kindercamp at school last week so he would be familiar with his classroom. He met his teacher, Ms. Atwood. Natalie and I walked him in to find his seat. While Natalie filled out the loads of paperwork, I helped Kingston put stuff in the cubbies where the teacher wanted things. After that, he found the lego station and went to work playing there. He was excited the teacher had s'more kits at each seat for the kids. He couldn't wait to bust into some graham crackers. We also found out Ms. Atwood is a counselor as well. This will be fantastic for Kingston this year. I can't believe he's going to Kindergarten!

Mt. Nebo
This past weekend we went to see the Barbers at Mt. Nebo. We stayed in Cabin 172. It was a 3 bedroom cabin. It was a fun weekend. On Friday, we were able to check in early. Once we unpacked, I took the kids to the pool. Stella and Frankie enjoyed learning how to float. We grilled burgers and dogs and had all the fixings to go with it. We played a game of Last Word before calling it a night. We were tired!
Saturday, I introduced the kids to melty beads. They had a blast making things with them. I would iron them so they stick together. Frankie played for hours with it as well as me and Chantel! I had made the kids coloring shirts too. Stella created a real masterpiece with her Peppa the Pig shirt. She was so proud of it, she wore it home on Sunday. Later Saturday afternoon, we went and borrowed horse shoes from the visitors center. Luke, Jett, and Blake each played a game. I think Luke won all three games! I enjoyed holding baby Lionel. He was super cranky on Saturday. Chantel had eaten a lot of the broccoli salad I made. His poor little tummy was sure gassy! He was just a tooting! Saturday night, Luke and I went for a walk around the mountain. We saw so many deer. It was beautiful! We ended the night by watching the sunset with Chantel and Stella.
It was a fun relaxing weekend. I can't wait to go back!

Downtown with Kingston
A few weeks ago, Luke and I took Kingston downtown to the Farmer's Market. I wanted some fresh produce and I knew he would have a good time at the splash pad. I got tomatoes, squash of several different kinds, corn, and kettle corn. I love just looking at all the vegetables. Kingston was less than impressed. That could have been because he asked- not nicely- for a fidget spinner, and I told him no. His attitude needed to improve before I would think about getting him one. Well, he quickly forgot about the spinner. We walked around to the splash pad and let him play in the water for a bit. After splashing and playing on the playground, we went to eat lunch at Flying Fish. We couldn't pass up Kilwins either. It was a good day exploring the River Market.
