Christylee's Gender Reveal

I am so late in posting these pictures- I forgot they were on my camera!  Luke and I wouldn't have missed Christylee and Steve's gender reveal party.  When I got to Jerry and Nancy's house- Jacob and Lily were making a cake.  I helped them finish baking it and making the icing.  It was supposed to be a blue and pink cake- but ended up being orange and green since they started with a yellow cake mix.  It was still however, very tasty!  We had pizza and salad and then all went outside to do silly string and party poppers.  The look on Mrs. Nancy's face was worth it all- It's a GIRL!!!  I was so thinking it was a boy.  Congrats to Steve, Lily, and Christylee.  Gotta get busy knitting something pink!

Zoo Field Trip

Caden and Kingston got their picture made with Debbie the zookeeper!

Yesterday, was the field trip day at the Little Rock Zoo.  Ms. Atwood's class along with all the other Kindegarten classes went to the zoo for the day.  We were set with our own scavenger hunt list!  We teamed up with Caden and his parents and had a really fun time.  We found animals with a big nose, stripes, lived in water, large animals, and anything else on our sheet.  We ate lunch outside the zoo and then went back in for more fun.  Kingston bought 4 rocks and of course a Popsicle to end the day.  It was fun making memories at the zoo.

Wye Mountain with the boys

Yesterday, Natalie and I took the boys to Wye Mtn. for pictures.  We ate lunch there and pigged out on nachos, funnel cake, popcorn, hot dogs, corn dogs, and bbq sandwiches.  We were miserable afterwards.  Kingston had been asking both of us if we could find the edge of a rainbow.  He was super excited when we told him- there it was.  He wanted a picture by it.  Both boys looked super cute in their matching shirts.  We took Kingston's sling off for pictures as he is still recuperating from breaking his collar bone.  As I looked through the camera lens taking his picture, I realized how grown up he is starting to look- when in the world did that happen?  I'd do anything for that little boy.

                                                                    Isla, Chloe, Oliver, Davin

                                                        Scarlett, Korbin, Greyson, Caden
                                                  Olivia, Maxton, Bryce, Joby
                                                             Brooke, Mason, Kinsey
                                                                    Molly

Today, I joined Kingston's class in celebrating the 100th day of school.  They started the day with a fashion show sporting their 100th day of school shirts.  Kingston had soccer balls on his.  They drew pictures and journaled about what they would do when they were 100.  Kingston said he would work at Walmart and buy people food.  You had to pay for your food though.  Good thinking! My favorite was Tyson's picture.  He said he would, "eat his Mom and Dad."  Ms. Atwood and I both explained you don't eat humans- but I don't think he ever got what we were saying!

After the fashion show of shirts, the kindergartners went down the entire school hallway for a parade.  They thought that was awesome.  They even had a 100 day of school snack which threw in a little math skills. It was fun getting to spend my birthday with his class.  They sang Happy Birthday to me and every kid made me a card.  It was super special.  I love getting the chance to be a home room Aunt!
