Yesterday, we went to Lily's 5th birthday party. It was a My Little Pony Theme. Lily picked all the food- we had chicken nuggets, apples, carrots, popcorn, and cupcakes. They decorated birthday hats and put stickers on a pony. She loved opening all her presents. It cracked me up when Christylee told Lily to look at Aunt Melissa and Uncle Luke- she automatically looked our way and said "Cheese." She knows us too well! She loved her Disney shirt and hair bow we got her. It was good to see Lily- as it's been a long time since we've seen her! It was a fun party!

Yarn Bombing
My friend Jennifer participated in a yarn bombing at our local arts center. Luke and I went to check it out. It was amazing! The amount of time and yarn that went into this project is crazy! They decorated the outside of the building as well as the fountain and trees.
Dad's Birthday
We got together to celebrate Dad's birthday at Chuy's. It's a good Mexican Restaurant. Chris and Summer brought Kingston. He loved pigging out on the cheese dip and beans and rice. He was excited when I told him Aunt Isis had a surprise in her purse. So excited in fact, that when he opened his eyes- he didn't know where to look! He loved his little hot wheels- and they were able to keep him occupied for a bit. Luke and I bought Dad a cute card and gave him No bake cookies for his birthday. Happy Birthday Dad!
Camp Tanako
Mom, Sandra, and I went to a Scrapbooking Retreat this past weekend. The weather was perfect and cool. This was probably my most favorite relaxing crop in a long time. We had our own room to crop in with plenty of space. The food was delicious, and the cabins were clean and comfy. It was a nice getaway to get caught up on my scrapbooking.

Kingston's Sick Day
Kingston ended up having a stomach bug a few weeks ago. Since he couldn't go to daycare, and Mom was sick- Aunt Melissa or "Isis" as he calls me wanted to keep him. He played for 3 days with the same cars toy. That was the best 5 dollars I've ever spent! We ate bland- and found out he loves chicken and stars soup! I even showed him how Uncle "Gook" puts crackers in his soup. He thought it was fun crunching the Ritz with his spoon.
We watched a movie- Spirit. It's a horse Disney Movie. I forgot that I cry in all animal movies. So, during the movie, he would come over and pat my knee and say, "It's OK Isis" It was too cute. I love keeping Kingston anytime!
