Disney on Ice

These pictures are in no certain order for sure!  Today, we met Kingston, Grayson, and Natalie at Verizon to see Disney on Ice.  Luke and I were able to take Lily as well.  Nana and PaPa got us awesome tickets!  We started the morning with popcorn and cotton candy.  The show was fantastic.  They started with Toy Story- which went a little long.  Ariel came out next and sang a number.  Then it was time for Cars.  It was really neat to be so close to the ice.  The Cars act was fun- and the boys totally loved it.  After intermission, they ended the show with Frozen.  I sang in Lily's ear and she just laughed.  When the song started, I leaned over to Kingston and said, "I told them to play this song just for you!"  He just rolled his eyes.

After the show, we rode the trolly to Flying Fish downtown.  Poor Natalie barely had any crab legs because the boys were chowing down!  Lily settled for fries since she's not much of a fish person.  After lunch, we stopped at Kilwins for ice cream.  Lily had chocolate chip cookie dough and loved it!  While we were sitting outside, she looked at me and said, " Aunt Melissa, this has been the best day of my life!"  All 8 years!  It was fun getting to spend time with her- it has been way too long.  I thought it was cute how she said, "You and my Mom were once best friends and now you're related- cause you're my Aunt!"  I didn't have the heart to tell her that we weren't really related, but I just smiled.  Christylee has always been like a sister to me anyhow!

It was a fun Disney filled day!

Kingston's Class Trip to the Zoo!

I went with Natalie to Kingston's class field trip to the Little Rock Zoo.  We literally ran through the zoo trying to keep up with this group of boys.  These 2 animal pictures were the only ones I got!  I was lucky to get these of the boys standing still! If I had used my old camera half of these wouldn't have worked.   It was fun to ride the train and visit with Natalie.  We only stayed at the zoo about 2 hours before it was time for lunch.  We ate outside the zoo at a set of picnic tables.  The kids were barely done with lunch before it started to rain.  I bet they all slept good at nap time!

Baby Lionel

I am by no means a professional photographer....however, I did have a fun time making these pictures of Baby Lionel.  He is simply precious.  He loves having his hands by his ears.  Every once in a while, he has a "hallelujah" moment and will just raise them both up in the air- precious!  One night, Blake was changing him downstairs.  He pooped as Blake was changing him and after getting him all cleaned up, Blake asked if someone could watch him while he threw the diaper away.  Well, duh.!  I went over and picked him up.  Stella was right there and baby Lionel started crying for just a bit.  She yells, "He pooped on the table!"  We were trying to figure out what she meant, and low and behold his belly button fell off right when I picked him up and landed on the table!  It was too funny.  He didn't seem to mind a bit, and went right back to sleep.  Stella might have been a little traumatized and we all got a good laugh out of it!  Babies are so precious and I certainly enjoyed my time with him!
