Wye Mountain with the boys

Yesterday, Natalie and I took the boys to Wye Mtn. for pictures.  We ate lunch there and pigged out on nachos, funnel cake, popcorn, hot dogs, corn dogs, and bbq sandwiches.  We were miserable afterwards.  Kingston had been asking both of us if we could find the edge of a rainbow.  He was super excited when we told him- there it was.  He wanted a picture by it.  Both boys looked super cute in their matching shirts.  We took Kingston's sling off for pictures as he is still recuperating from breaking his collar bone.  As I looked through the camera lens taking his picture, I realized how grown up he is starting to look- when in the world did that happen?  I'd do anything for that little boy.

                                                        Scarlett, Korbin, Greyson, Caden
                                                  Olivia, Maxton, Bryce, Joby
                                                             Brooke, Mason, Kinsey
                                                                    Molly

Today, I joined Kingston's class in celebrating the 100th day of school.  They started the day with a fashion show sporting their 100th day of school shirts.  Kingston had soccer balls on his.  They drew pictures and journaled about what they would do when they were 100.  Kingston said he would work at Walmart and buy people food.  You had to pay for your food though.  Good thinking! My favorite was Tyson's picture.  He said he would, "eat his Mom and Dad."  Ms. Atwood and I both explained you don't eat humans- but I don't think he ever got what we were saying!

After the fashion show of shirts, the kindergartners went down the entire school hallway for a parade.  They thought that was awesome.  They even had a 100 day of school snack which threw in a little math skills. It was fun getting to spend my birthday with his class.  They sang Happy Birthday to me and every kid made me a card.  It was super special.  I love getting the chance to be a home room Aunt!

Christmas Day

Mom loved the runner I made.
Never judge a box by it's cover- Mom and Dad put gift cards in a cereal box.  Kingston was super excited.

Christmas Day was a fun filled day at the Williams household.  Kingston and Natalie joined us for the Christmas Day fun.  We ate breakfast casserole while discussing Santa.  Kingston walked right past the carrots thrown all over the front yard.  When he finally discovered them, he said, " The easter bunny must have been here."  He wasn't impressed at all.  We told him he left cookies and milk too- already eaten!  Santa delivered him a drone which he had fun playing all morning.  We ate a lunch of pot roast, mashed potatoes, gravy, cream cheese corn, orange fluff, and rolls.  We had fun celebrating Jesus' birthday.

Gingerbread House

Last night Kingston and I decorated a gingerbread house.  Whoever decided to sell the house already put together was a genius.  It made it so much easier!  He had an idea for exactly how he wanted his house to be built.  Of course, he ate candy along the way.  We laughed and made a huge mess while Uncle Luke took pictures.  He was pretty happy with the end product and I think it turned out cute!

Christmas Party Day

Kingston had his Christmas Party day this past Friday.  I got to school early to finish up the homeroom Christmas present and spent the rest of the day with Kingston.  The kids did a book exchange.  Kingston got another Dr. Seuss book about trees. He really liked it.  After lunch,  it was Polar Express time.  The kids gathered round on a "train" ride with their golden tickets.  I fixed them hot chocolate- which Kingston later told me wasn't hot at all- and marshmallows.  They watched the movie off and on through the day.  That afternoon, we surprised Ms. Atwood with an early birthday present and cupcakes.  Her birthday is over the Christmas break.  She loved her bag!  For the Christmas party, the kids ate pizza, cookies, and cupcakes.  It was sugar overload- but so much fun.

That afternoon, I took Kingston home and we dipped Ritz Crackers with peanut butter and chocolate.  He had the best time doing that.  We ate dinner at Flying Fish downtown with Luke and went to see the capital lights.  He was out by the time we got home.  It was a long, fun-filled day.
