I had a wonderful day yesterday doing housework. Now, some of you may say how can that be wonderful??? Well, for me, since I have been at the preschool a lot for the last 2 weeks, I haven't been able to get a lot of cleaning done. I'm OCD when it comes to cleaning the house, and I vaccumn at least 3 times a week. My Grandma would say I am vaccuming the hair off the carpet!
Anyway. I was able to mop all the tile in the house, clean both bathrooms and tubs/showers, and even caught up on all the laundry. I love being able to stay home and do the not so pretty chores. I see it as my job to make life easy on Luke so that he can focus on his job!
So, you're probably thinking...well what does she do after she has the housework caught up? Well, I sit on my butt and watch TV....NOT!!! I'm usually on the treadmill...and I even bought some arm weights the other day...I don't want these wings! Or, I do embroidery work, knit...thanks to Aunt JJ and Ma, and sometimes scrapbook.
I always do my "play" things after the chores are done though b/c that is how I was raised. Today though, I am taking Stormy Britches to the vet for her yearly. She's so wild and stubborn and she's definetly not Dr. Mike's favorite!
Well I will run!
Bye Blog!

Can you come to my house next???? Haha!! It is nice to have time to get all those chores done. Good for you for being so motivated!!
I am proud of my girl! Proud that you have it figured out about doing the job you need to do from being a stay home wife so that Luke can focus on doing HIS job and can do the best at it that he can! I wish more young stay home wives/mothers would figure that out!
If you want your husbands to be successful and you have chosen the "job" to be a stay home wife and mother, then DO THE JOB!!!! Husbands that don't have to come home and do housework can concentrate their time and energies on being the best that they can be at their jobs! Making a home for our husbands should be what we want to do and make it so! That's not a bit old fashioned and sobeit if it is!
Being a stay home wife/mother is the best and toughest job you will ever do! I've been doing it for 27 years and have NEVER EVER regretted giving up a job. THIS is the career that I wanted more than anything! And yes, you can do housework/laundry/etc with two kids! I DID IT!!!!! And, we had 4 dogs too!!!!!
I am proud of you Melissa Anne!!!!
