My ENT Appointment
I met with Dr. McGhee today to see what is up with my left ear. Well, it's what I expected... I have a hole the size of a penhead in my left eardrum. I go back in 6 weeks to see if it has healed up...and we'll decide what to do from there. The good news is he doesn't want to do a Tympanoplasty if he can help it!!! I had this done on my right ear about 10 years ago and have a rare thing where your jugular bulb rests in your middle ear...and normally you have a bone that protects that...well of course, I don't! So we don't want to deal with that again if we can help it. We'll just pray it heals and I can get some of my hearing back!

So no more tympanoplasty's. It wasnt' fun the first time ... right? I will keep you in my prayers that the nole closes and you get your hearing back! I know what means to lose your hearing.

Sorry to hear about the ear problems. Hope it heals up without a lot of trouble.....Can't wait to see what's in those Christmas tubs!!!! :)
I hope your ear gets better soon. Earaches are so painful... Love the work outfit. Looking forward to seeing the decorations. You're smart to do it early and be able to enjoy it longer. Especially when you have that much!!
Dr. McGhee is wonderful!!! He has done the last 4 of my 8 sinus surgeries!!! I think he finally fixed me, because I haven't had to go back in 1.5 years!!! Tell him you know me! I love him!!!! He always says, "boogers are my business and business is good." He is so funny!
I can't wait to see all your Christmas decorations throughout your house! Hopefully your ear will be better soon!
