Pork Chops with Amber Rice

I decided to make a new recipe tonight for dinner. I wanted to use what I had in the pantry. So I looked through my trusty old cookbooks and found this one! This picture was taken before it cooked, so I'm sure it will look a little better then. It sure sounds good!
Pork Chops with Amber Rice
6 or 8 Pork Chops (I used 4)
1 1/3 c. precooked rice (this means Minute Rice uncooked....at least I'm hoping LOL)
1 c. orange juice
1 can chicken with rice soup
Brown pork chops. Place 1 1/3 c. Minute Rice in oblong baking dish. Pour 1 c. orange juice over the top of the rice. Place in chops. Pour chicken with rice soup over chops. Brown in oven at 350 degrees. The recipe didn't say how long....I'm thinking 30 minutes or so. We'll see!

YOUR MOMMA SAYS:
I can't wait to try this one...the one that I tried that you gave me was AWESOME and could NOT have been easier!!!!! I did double the sauce as I had 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts. Your daddy, Christopher and I ate off of it last night and I put 2 breasts in the freezer with the sauce it cooked it - will take it out one night for a quick supper. I made jasmine rice (I LOVE that stuff!) and green beans with it....it was fantastic supper!!!!

I am proud of you that you are always trying new recipes to be a good homemaker. Luke is blessed to have you as his wife...I HOPE his family realizes that!!!!!

Love you....hmmmm tomorrow is someone's birthday! LOL LOL
Love, your momma that remembers ALL TOO WELL where she was 28 years ago...Doctors Hospital...with about 8 inches of snow on the ground waiting for a baby girl to be born!
