Fond Memories, Old Bowl

My PaPa, Grandma, and Me

My Banana Pudding

I'm having a friend over for lunch today and decided to make a Banana Pudding. I have fond memories of making Banana Puddings with my Grandma. We lived across the street from Grandma and PaPa growing up and I would always go see Grandma during the day. We usually baked some kind of sweetness because my PaPa loved his sweets! I'm not sure how many Banana Puddings were made in this bowl...but it sure is special to me. Just having Luke get it out of the cabinet last night brought back a flood of memories. Grandma had a special red knife that she would let me use to cut up the bananas. We always used Nilla Wafers...that was a must. Cool Whip and Vanilla pudding had to be the staple too! I loved my Grandma so much! Even though she's now in heaven, I still have this bowl...and better yet the memories to go along with it!

YOUR MOMMA SAYS:

I miss my mom and dad so much....if I just go could back for one day, I would sure change a lot of things and say a lot of things that I regret never saying. I'm glad you made 'nanner puddin' (as PaPa would have said) for Jodi...she's a super nice gal!
Love you!
