Robert had his first Upward Flag Football practice this past week. He was super excited. He had heard me talking with Patrick Henry about his uniform. Patrick told me to get it a little big considering we start off hot and end up cold during the season. Well, Robert had no clue what we were talking about. He came out of his room with an under armor shirt on that was long sleeved and insulated. I asked him why he thought that would be a good thing for practice. He repeated exactly what Patrick had said. I told him that he needed to remember that it was hot outside- and how exactly was he going to "end up cold" tonight? He just shrugged his shoulders. Well, around here we deal almost always with logical consequences. He wore that shirt to practice. Luke was able to help with team practice. He said Robert was sweating like crazy! I wonder if he'll do that again? We're looking to a good Flag Football season.
