I sat here tonight working on some Christmas presents when the power started flickering. I should have known Mr. Gustav (as our dog BJ likes to call him....he hates it when it rains!!!) would make our power go out! So now I have every candle in the house lit...I think if smells could explode our house would be gone! I have scents from Yankee Candle that range from berries to cinnamon. On top of that I just put out Cinnamon Cider Potpourri in the house today! I am waiting on my battery to die on the laptop. Just had to say I would not make a good pioneer woman. I was able to knit a few rows before the sun went down, but I am having a hard time reading by candlelight! I also don't think I could live without air conditioner! And to think I was just thinking about fixing me a bowl of yogurt...don't want to even open the fridge now...we just bought groceries!!! Hopefully it will come back on soon. Hopefully soon I'll feel the air conditioner breeze on my face and welcome the lightbulbs shining in my eyes!

I am SOOOOOO with you on NOT being a pioneer woman! My idea of "roughing it" on a campout is either staying in a classA RV OR roughing it at a Super8 motel! LOL Sleeping in a tent outside - I am too old and I do NOT enjoy rocks in my back or looking up at the top of the tent to see it covered with grand-daddy long legs! YUCK!!!
I am sick of "Mr. Gustav" too...the poor little hummingbirds were having a really tough time yesterday just trying to hang onto the feeder. Rain rain GO AWAY

You are too much! I just got to thinking about getting my fall things out and now you are talking about making Christmas presents! Stop already...Other than that, I am a girl who needs electricity and make no apologies for it! :)
